Duluth Weekend Ride

I'm putting together a ride/get together for the Last weekend in July. meet and greet (dinner) Friday evening 29th and a ride on the 30th. Got a block of 10 rooms at the Days Inn, for Friday and Saturday, meet at RJ Sports and Cycle Saturday morning, ride will start around 10:00am.

I've just made my room reservation.  To get the group rate that comes with the block reservation you must contact the hotel directly.  That number is 218-727-3110.

Jay led a great ride last year and his attention to all of the details added to the convenience and enjoyment of the weekend.

My plans have changed and I'm no longer able to participate. I'm sure everyone will have a very enjoyable weekend.  Ride safe.

As much as I was looking forward to this weekend I am sad to say we can no longer go. Jay thank you for putting this together it is no reflection on you that the turn out was not good as everyone had a great time last year. We have had low turn out on most of the rides this year.

Kathy and I are planning on keeping our reservation and expecting to have a great weekend.  Still hoping more STAR friends can join us!  But whether the total attendance is 25, four or just the two of us, we'll have a good time riding some nice roads! 

(Just so long as nobody invites the tornadoes that parts of Minnesota has seen recently. )

Judy and I are still planning on being there and are really looking forward to the weekend. Alan, would you and Kathy (and anyone else) be open to linking up for the ride up and back?

Definitely!    I'll be thinking of a good meeting point for that Friday morning (in two weeks!).  Let me know if you have any ideas near you.  Maybe Andover, Ham Lake or such ...

I am planning to go, have my reservations for Friday and Saturday. Looks like it will be a smaller group this year, to bad it was great last year. I have Friday off, are there any plans to ride down together.

We had to shift our morning plan a bit but we are all set now.

We plan on meeting at Waldoch by 9:15a with a KSU of 9:30a.  I've got a lunch stop planned at a great burger place that Kathy and I have been to a few times.  We should get to the Days Inn about mid afternoon.

I had originally hoped to make it to Gordy's Hi Hat for lunch but I think Sunday lunch during the return might work.

Let me know if this works and who's planning on meeting us at Waldoch.  I'm really looking forward to this weekend!
