We now have 36 of the 40 slots filled!  Thank you to everyone for your enthusiastic support of our volunteer event.  FMSC has asked that we arrive at 1:45 pm for orientation before our session begins at 2:00 pm.  For those who would like to meet for lunch first, we will post details soon. 

FMSC does have a Jewelry Policy - as follows:
Jewelry and other accessories present the potential for foreign objects to accidentally fall into our lifesaving meals. Due to FDA requirements, FMSC volunteers will need to remove all jewelry and/or accessories before packing. Foreign objects in food can cause choking, tooth-breakage, and other problems. FMSC does not have a screening device like a metal detector or an x-ray machine to detect possible contamination of our finished product.

- No jewelry is permitted in the packing room, labeling areas, Warehouse Crew Area or when inspecting raw ingredients.
- Jewelry includes earrings, watches, rings, necklaces, pins, brooches, etc.
- Wedding bands are permitted, however if your band has a stone you will be required to wear a glove.
- Also, facial piercings, gauges, and new earrings that lock in the back are permitted.
- Medical alert bracelets/necklaces may be worn.

After the 404 meeting on Saturday, many of us - including many volunteers for this event - will be meeting for lunch at Stark's in Eagan.  We have reservations for 30 at 12:30 pm.  Here is the link!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who participated in the Star Volunteer Event at Feed My Starving Children!  After many of us  first attended the 404 meeting, we had a great lunch at Starks and then headed to FMSC.  There were many groups participating and altogether we packed 188 boxes, a record amount for the day!  It was so much fun and the time flew by so quickly.  Everyone was in agreement that we need to do this again.  Thank you so very much for making this event a success.

Judy thank so much setting event up! We had a great time and we all did a lot of good. In about one and a half hour every one who was there pack enough meals to feed 112 children for one year. Let's do it again say June and let's all ride there.
