Hillsboro Trip

We will again make our annual trek to Hillsboro WI in June. A route is being planned for the trip down on Friday, June 21, and a group ride is being planned for Saturday, June 22. On Sunday June 23 I will lead a shorter morning ride ending at the chicken feed in Rockton. Most will return home on Monday, June 24.

Several members plan to do some pre-riding of routes on the weekend of June 7-9, so final details won't be available until we have tested the planned routes.

For everyone planning to go to Hillsboro this year here is the finial plans. If you are planning on having breakfast with 292 we will be meeting at the Perkins at 8am on 50th and Hwy 100 at 8:00am. We will be leaving there at about 8:45am and heading to the Point. For those that will just be meeting us at the Point we will be there at about 9:15am for a 9:45am departure. We will be taking HWY 10 east in Wisconsin. We will be stopping in Ellsworth then making a fuel stop in Whitehall, about 100 miles from the Point. We will be stopping for lunch in Melrose at the L & M Café. During the pre-ride with the stops it was about a 4-hour ride to lunch so please plan accordingly for lunch at about 2pm. After lunch we are onto Hillsboro with one stop in between. This will be a rain or shine event so plan accordingly. I hope we have a good turnout because this event is always a good time.
