We will meet at the Super America gas station at Hwy 252 and 66th Ave. N. in Brooklyn Center by 9:15 with KSU at 9:30. In the interest of time we will take 94, 10, then 371 up to Brainerd. It takes a little over 2 hours to get up there so we will plan for one stop along the way.

At Brainerd we will eat lunch at Culver’s which is about 3 miles before the Raceway. After the races we can eat at a very good Mexican restaurant called Pancho and Lefty’s which is also not far from the Raceway.

We probably won’t get back until about 7:00.

Rides / Hillsboro 2019

For those who are interested in the Hillsboro trip for 2019, and who were not at Hillsboro this year, we selected the dates for 2019. The dates will be Friday, June 21 through Monday June 24 (hotel nights 21st-23rd).

If you mention that you are part of the Gorter/Star group, the hotel gives a 10% discount. A block of rooms was reserved for now, but there is a wedding there that weekend, so don't wait too long!!

Coincidentally, I planned to stop at the same place for lunch on the poker run on Saturday! Cash is king!!

Poker run will be $5/hand also.

Rick and I did the pre ride for this event last weekend and the place we are stoping for lunch on Friday is cash only, no credit or debit cards. So, no cash no lunch.
