Meetings / March Chapter 292 meeting

Our March Chapter 292 meeting will be held at Tousley Motorsports on Saturday the 23rd at 11:00 am. I reminded them that we would be happy to have one of their staff members address our group about new motorcycle products, accessories, or on-sale items. The new Marketing Manager Emily said she would line up a sales associate to talk during our meeting.

Meetings / February Chapter 292 meeting

The February Chapter 292 meeting will be at Biff's Sports Bar and Grill at 1:00 Sunday, February 10. The address is 7777 Hwy 65 NE, Spring Lake Park, MN 55432. We will order our lunches at 1:00 and hold the meeting while they are preparing the food.

Events / 2019 IMS

This is only my opinion, but each year it seems like the IMS just gets smaller and smaller each year.  Hardly any private vendors. From the looks of it, it should be titled the International Insurance Show.  Gieco, State Farm, Progressive, Allstate, etc.

No Harley Davidson except for some local dealers.  No Yamaha, except for one local dealer. 

There was one new entry, "Confederate Motorcycle". $85,000.  There were those quite battery powered Zero bikes.  And the kids two wheeled glider bikes, they were sure cute. 

I won't be going next year, but am looking forward to next months Donnie Smith show.

Yamaha is not listed as one of the exhibitors for this years IMS.  Sad.  Wonder why?

The potluck meal will start at noon, and we'll sign charters and ride waivers afterwards.

Chapter 292 will provide the paper goods (plates, cups, utensils, etc.).
